We Need Volunteers!
Scare Actors & Monsters,
Actors are our number one priority. Without you, we don’t have an event. We are looking for extremely responsible and dependable individuals to be Scare Actors. These highly sought positions require a core group of volunteer actors to help make Haunted Montrose the best haunted attraction in middle Georgia year after year.
Required of our special group is the passion for scaring people safely and with the responsibility and maturity to handle a wide range of unpredictable circumstances. Scaring properly is hard work, but with great rewards.
No experience necessary … We will train you! All actor meetings and training are held at Montrose Auction – 1702 Second Street – Montrose, GA.
Actors are required to be at least 16 years of age, have reliable transportation and be able to work all Fridays and Saturdays in October.
Actors are provided costumes by Haunted Montrose. We have a wide selection of characters. Characters will be assigned as actors complete volunteer qualifications. We will have rehearsals prior to opening. A final dress rehearsal will be scheduled before we open for the season. This is a great chance for you to try out your character and location at the scare event. You will be required to arrive up to two hours prior to opening on event nights, to get into character and be ready in your scare location. Lines will already be forming and will begin to get long soon thereafter. The event is held regardless of weather, dress appropriately. Please be advised that we must only accept the most serious and dedicated volunteers.
